Just inches away from your wrist. SOE didn't shuffle all those bits back and forth. They're on you machine. I still have all of it installed. It's waiting for a reply that will never come from a server to start up. I'm not sure what, besides scenery, would come up. Perhaps not the NPCs. Perhaps the dungeons would crash if entered. I would be happy with stand alone Free Realms, with or without my rides or houses, with or with out my other clothing, with or without the dungeons. Could something like that be done?? It could be a first step to attract and hold interest until an MMO solution was found. Myst URU did this kind of thing for years.

Oh hey, we have another Myst fan! Cyan rocks To answer your question however, it apparently can't be done unless we have packet logs, and we have yet to find someone who can entirely prove that they do indeed have packet logs of Free Realms.

Would I have them? I deleted nothing and I do image backups with Acronis so if the files were in my computer a year ago, they will be in that image. Where would I look? I connected thru FireFox (and the SOE installer is still there). My ISP is ATT Uverse.

It's too late to get them now. You would need to use something such as Wireshark and open the game to find out what the "reply that will never come from a server to start up" is, and as far as I know, nobody knew to do that within the short time that Free Realms lasted.
People have claimed to do it. No _proof_ has actually been provided however.
